All probationary certificated employees are required to complete the district’s designated program for educators new to LPS. This program includes laptop distribution and required professional learning on topics including curriculum, instruction, student needs, and building positive student relationships. Successful completion of the LPS tenure program in the employees first 3 years is required to attain permanent (tenure) status. Information and details about this program are located on the LPS Website and will be communicated to all new hires.
