Procedures for Salary Payments

- Based upon the compensation package adopted by the Lincoln Board of Education, Human Resources notifies the Payroll Department of the appropriate compensation for all employees.
- The pay date schedule for employees is developed by Human Resources in conjunction with the Payroll Department in accordance with the negotiated agreements and state and federal statutes.
- Salary warrants may be withheld until provisions of the law are met, including Board action concerning employment, execution of any applicable contract, filing of any applicable certification papers, completion of any requested physical examinations and the receipt of requested criminal background checks.
- Upon separation, payment for work performed shall be provided in compliance with state and federal statutes.
