The district will implement a comprehensive system of staff development offerings for teachers, counselors, facilitators, school librarians, psychologists and administrators. As part of the tenure requirements for new certified staff, professional learning experiences in the gifted program (Level One outcomes) are included.
A second tier, outcome-based professional learning program focusing on Level Two outcomes is expected of professionals serving in the following roles: the gifted program supervisor, consulting teachers, itinerant teachers, teachers of the differentiated curriculum and gifted program facilitators.
