The Lincoln Board of Education and the administrative staff shall assist each new member-elect to understand the Board’s functions, policies and procedures and the operation of the school system both before and after the new member takes office. Each member-elect: - Shall be given selected material on the function of the Board and the school system.
- Shall be invited to attend Board meetings.
- Shall be invited to meet with the Superintendent and other administrative personnel to discuss services they perform for the Board.
- Shall be given copies of the Board’s policies and bylaws, administrative regulations, and copies of pertinent materials developed by the Nebraska Association of School Boards.
