The Environment, Health and Safety (EH&S) Office provides the same services for University controlled facilities as those provided by the environmental health offices of California local health departments. Typically, the services include food sanitation inspection, housing inspection, water surveillance (cross-connection control, chlorination of new water lines, bacteriological analysis of water supplies, etc.), swimming pool sanitation, and general sanitation.
