KCTCS follows two main sets of rules. The Board of Regents sets Board Policies that guide how the System runs. The KCTCS President approves Administrative Policies. These policies put the Board Policies into action and help manage the System. The KCTCS community expects everyone to read, understand, and follow these policies. Every employee should understand and abide by current KCTCS policies. The KCTCS Policy Manual does not create a contract, express or implied, with any of its employees. Students should read and follow student-specific policies. If you have any questions about a policy, reach out to the Office of General Counsel or the appropriate office.
